Restricting promotions of food and drink that is high in fat, sugar and salt

The Government is seeking views on plans to restrict promotions of products high in fat, sugar and salt (HFSS). The consultation asks what you think about restricting volume-based price promotions of HFSS food and drink. Examples of such promotions are "buy one, get one free" and free refills of sugary soft drinks. It asks about restricting where HFSS food and drink is placed in stores, such as: checkouts, aisle ends and entrances. There is more information on the Department of Health website.
