A free Domestic Abuse Awareness training for charities that hosted at the Vibe Youth Centre. It takes place on 14th January 1-4pm at the Vibe Youth Centre RM8 2UT.

Sporting Memories Christmas Party

 

Sporting Memories Christmas Party, which will take place on Thursday 12th December from 12pm until 3pm, guests are asked to contribute £10 and you will not be disappointed as you will have the full razzmatazz, with a live music, buffet and the opportunity to meet the first-team players.

Autum All4Free Event 24

This Saturday The Market Place in East Ham is hosting our annual Autumn All4Free Event.

All4Free Events are organised by the Newham Sharing initiative and reoccur every three months. Each time we are supporting 200-300 families on the asylum system, in temporary accommodation, baby bank/ food bank clients, on social welfare, struggling with the cost of living crisis or living in hidden poverty… with essential goods. Each time we save tonnes of new/ next to new items from going into landfill.

Autumn All4Free Event 2024:

Free baby clothes, baby items (buggy, high chair, baby baths, nappies), children’s clothes, shoes, school uniforms, toys, games, books, small electric gadgets, kitchen items, smart clothes (for grown ups for interviews).

We have a Children’s play pen with toys they can keep, a quiet women’s only corner for nursing and baby changing, and we provide hot drinks for free.

This Saturday, 26th October, 1-3pm, at Unit 4 The Market Place, Myrtle Rd, London E6 1HY East Ham. Everyone welcome, no questions asked.

Note:

We accept donations at the venue the evening before the event, 5-7pm, and on the day from 11am. For queries please contact Transition_Newham@riseup.net.

Early Intervention: Prioritizes early identification and support to address mental health challenges before they escalate.

Community Focus: Promotes resilience and well-being within the community by addressing the unique needs of young individuals.

Meet the Funders Event

 

Over 50 local VCSE’s and grassroot organisations attended the event and were provided with the opportunity to hear presentations about available funding opportunities, meet with the representatives of major UK funders and a chance to ask questions directly.

This time, we welcomed four funders – Clarion Housing Group, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, The National Lottery Community Fund and Children in Need.  Information & material  was sent in by L&Q, Jack Petchey & Comic Relief who were unable to attend.
